Matthew: What is the theme of your poem?

Easy access to firearms as an expression of twisted power over others is morally senseless and ridiculous in a nation that claims freedom as its motto.

Matthew: How would you like people to respond when they read or watch your poetry reading?

John: My rapid fire little humorous, sardonic poem illustrates the ludicrous, unbridled ownership of firearms. I’d like my American readers/viewers to be motivated to take the matter of gun control seriously.
