1) What is your very short story about?

This story a comic twist on the airport goodbye. Too many times people cry and weep and hug each other saying ‘be safe’ and ‘I’ll miss you’ but the truth is, that’s only part of it. In this case I thought it would be funny to have the guy be both brutally honest and kind of a dimwit. If that’s the last thing he’s going to say to her, of course she’s going to cry. I also thought she’d remember it more than anything else he could have said.

It made me chuckle, and when that happens there’s probably more people who will chuckle too. Plus when people change the reason they’re crying so quickly, I don’t care who you are, it’s always…
