If you can find your phone
When all about are fumbling in their bags,
If you can self scan shop,
And not find anything scarier, and carry on regardless
When there’s an unexpected item in the bagging area……
If you can choose the queue that has no ringing bell
And pack your stuff and find your purse
Although you feel like hell,
If you can stir a pot and clothe a tot and fill a vacuum flask,
And find a shoe and clear up poo – then you can multitask!
If you can smile when others take the piss
And not ask does my bum look big in this?
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds worth of emails sent,
Then yours is the earth and all that’s in it –
And what’s more you’ve had a life well spent
