Director Biography
Dan Pal studied Film at the University of Chicago. He teaches in the School of Cinematic Arts at DePaul University in Chicago and at Moraine Valley Community College where he was selected Adjunct Professor of the Year in 2015. He is also a Company Member of Pride Films & Plays (PFP) in Chicago and serves on the selection committee for its Queer Bits Film Festival.
He is Executive Producer of the feature Searching for Venice, currently in post-production. His short, Scotty Works OUT, a Festival Favorite at its premiere at The Palm Springs Gay & Lesbian Film Festival in 2013 has also screened at festivals in Spokane, Santa Barbara, Santa Fe, Geneva, and Chicago.
