Logline: Following murderous pogroms in Warsaw at the end of World War One, eight young Jews, ages 14 to 16, risk their lives to reach Palestine, nearly freezing to death crossing the Alps in an empty freight car, then stowing away in a rusty Italian freighter; refused entry into the Holy Land at Haifa, they jump ship later in Alexandria and finally reach Eretz Israel thanks to some British army officers who face immediate arrest while trying to keep the youngsters from being deported back to Poland.
