Peering into Hell, my friend and I,

We made a pact one day, before a

Fire of Blood,

Before the red abyss of time,

That we would make our time obey–

And the gods laughed at that.

They laughed our hopes away.

But we couldn’t hear–luckily we didn’t

Know–

When we made our pact that day,

Peering into Hell one day,

Peering into Hell
