On the Importance of Outlining

New writers often dive into writing their scripts too early and then when it doesn’t work try to fix their drafts over and over… This approach is very time consuming and tends to lead to the writer (and the script) hitting a wall. Instead, outline and re-outline. And when a script doesn’t work re-outline as well. A lot of writers balk at the thought of re-outlining but remember that when it comes to screenwriting:
