Director BIO: Emilie Boyard

Emilie is a versatile, multi-skilled visual artist and storyteller, a French film writer & direc- tor based in Sydney. She graduated in 2004 as Digital Director from Supinfocom Arles in France, with the animated short film Loop which enjoyed great success in festivals (awarded prizes at Siggraph, Annecy & Seoul Film Festival).
Her professional career started in post-production studios in London, at The Mill and Studio Aka. In 2007 She arrived in Sydney, working at Animal Logic in the Cartoon Net- work Department.
In 2014 Emilie enrolled in a Masters of Screen Arts at AFTRS, where she wrote and direct- ed the live-action short film Midnight Poetry, awarded Best Short Film at We Love Par- is Festival, and officially selected at Montreal Film Festival, Cannes Festival Antipodes, SWFF, Simply Short.
