experimentalfilmfestival's avatarExperimental Film & Music Video Festival

Directed by Lukasz Pytlik

This is a music video. The story is about how the tablets to the Epic of Gilgamesh were preserved by an act of war in 612 BCE in Nineveh. Nineveh is modern Mosul in Iraq, much in the news recently. The video shows the atrocity of war and at the same time hope in the form of culture– the preservation of humanity’s oldest story ‘The Epic of Gilgamesh’.
