VOICES was the winner of BEST MUSIC at the April 2018 Experimental Film Festival in Toronto.

Matthew Toffolo: What motivated you to make this film?

Alberto Nacci: This is the seventh film of a series of short films called Body & Sound on the relationships between musicians and their musical instruments.

2. From the idea to the finished product, how long did it take for you to make this short?

About 6 months. The longest time was to have the 4 singers available: a month to select the piece of music (written and arranged by Caterina Comeglio) and write the storyboard, three days to shoot the film and about 2 months for editing it.

3. How would you describe your short film in two words!?
