If I pass you and don’t greet
While I’m walking down the street
It doesn’t mean I’m avoiding you
It’s just that I didn’t see you
If you talk and I don’t reply
It doesn’t make me a bad guy
I’m probably focused on another matter
and have blocked out all the chatter
If I don’t look at you when you talk to me
Don’t think me rude or snobby
Eye contact is something I can’t bare
And there may be something in your hair
If I pursue tangents in conversation
Don’t think I ignored your information
I probably understood what you have said
And made other connections in my head
If I don’t shake your hand or hug you back
Don’t think that love to you I lack
I just can’t handle being touched
Not even my hand being clutched
If I say something that sounds mean
