Jeff Nichols
Born: December 7, 1978 in Little Rock, Arkansas, USA
Brother of Ben Nichols, lead singer of the band Lucero that contributed music for Jeff’s debut feature, Shotgun Stories (2007).
The lead female character in Nichols’ “Mud” is named “Juniper”. This is also the title of a song written by his brother Ben’s band, Lucero. The song appears on their “Women and Work” LP.
