‘Gong’ stands for grandfather in Chinese. My script is about the divisions and rifts between generations. Family plays an extremely crucial role in Chinese culture. The two protagonists in this script has completely different views and attitudes towards society, including language, food and even outfits. Though the protagonists in this story differ in lots of ways, blood is what ties them together eventually. Family members have to make compromise due to result of the conflicts.
