Do we not wail with one voice all.
lost in the many mangled bones,
where faces no longer smile, nor
souls laugh. Hurled in one blast
of exploding energy, tossed into
death. Are we not those too?
Humanity has met the inhuman evil
in bombs, bullets sprayed, beheading,
emasculation, rape.
