SCRIPT MOVIE: Perseverance, by Josh Brushett

Synopsis:

Sarah Murphy is content for now, working as a bank teller. She is adjusting to her love life, now living with partner Christopher, with the wedding just over a week away. Everything feels the way it should, however she cannot escape the feeling of dread as if there’s more to her fate than a simple happy ending. When an armed robbery takes place at the bank where she works, Sarah finds herself making the ultimate sacrifice. Thrust into a world she does not understand, neither heaven nor hell but definitely the afterlife Sarah must now figure out how to move on, with the guidance of the mysterious Woman in White and Sarah’s own sense of morality.

Summary of scene:

The scene in question towards the end when Sarah has made her peace with being dead and is virtually ready to move on but needs to say goodbye first.
