BRIEF SYNOPSIS:

Anthropology Professor Taia Potehe discovers artefacts from a strange offshore island linking him with mysterious 17th century Scottish woman Heather who according to folklore, was exiled there after it was discovered she had illegitimate relations with a Scottish nobleman, Jacobite links and was tried for witchcraft.

Heather returns as a spirit assisting Taia to solve her mystery as he contends with rigid academic constraints and a dangerous psychopath that stalks his lover Lucy.

The artefacts possession become a question of speculative ownership as Taia struggles to subdue their dangerous powers amidst his personal crisis. Returning to the island he finds Heather’s remains, allowing her to cross into the afterworld.

AbandonWitch is a story of hopelessness, revenge, love, and inspires the mystery of folklore narratives.
