Boats, Booze and Billions

A botched sting operation leads to a series of International events; the sinking of a huge consignment of liquor, the shooting death of an American mobster, and a diplomatic row following the violation of trans-border maritime law. The story shifts briefly to the sin-soaked speakeasies of lower Manhattan where the supply shortage is quickly felt. The action then jumps to Rockport, Ontario, a small fishing village on the St. Lawrence River where we join Molly and Alex: star-crossed lovers whom have the combination of wits and connections to run a lucrative Rum Running operation. Their clever schemes are wildly successful and mountains of money rolls in. But the local US Coast Guard is catching on …
