It documents the experiences of a woman Correctional Officer – Lisa Snook – who worked for 25 years in Corrections and retired from Her Majesty’s Penitentiary for men in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. It follows her on her last day of work as she reflects on the gendered interactions between correctional officers, prison management and inmates, and the coping strategies that she developed at a young age.
