Cate Celso, is an independent film maker living in San Francisco, California. After working severals years in film production she is now directing and producing her own projects. King of the Road is her first documentary and third short film.
Several years ago when I was working in film production, our studio hired Rick to come and perform on site. While many of us were skeptical…an Elvis tribute artist? Rick soon won us over with his performance.
I went on to see Rick perform a few more times in the Bay Area and was always intrigued by his effortless ability to really connect with his audiences. A few years ago when I started directing my own film projects our paths crossed again. It’s been a privilege to have Rick share his life story with me. My hope is to share his inspirational story with others.
