Tim Alberts has composed and produced music for various feature films, radio and television productions, as well as numerous documentary and short films. More recently, Tim has turned his attention to producing documentary films, such as the 2013 film, Waiting a Lifetime which he directed, edited and scored. In 2019, his film, Sisyphus Rides aired on the CBC’s Documentary channel after winning awards on the festival circuit.
Director Statement
History is written by normal people working collectively for the cause of justice. Though it was shot before Covid 19, the film, How History is Written uses the metaphor of a virus to describe fascism. Like a virus, fascism can remain dormant for long periods of time. But when the conditions are right, it can mutate into its full form. The film is not simply another chronicle of the events of WWII, but a very personal story that examines the parallels…
