An elderly woman recalls a pivotal experience in her youth when she secretly cared for Jewish children orphaned by WWII Nazis. After seventy years, Betty, accompanied by her granddaughter, is reunited with one of the survivors, now seventy six, who tells of her life since the horrific events of her childhood and of her fears of a global return to right wing extremism.
