A visual fashion documentary set aboard a luxury cruise ship.

The film follows the finalists of the Miss Princess of the World pageant during their journey aboard the massive cruise liner MSC Europa. Rather than focusing on the staged glamour of the competition itself, the documentary observes the contestants during their free time on the ship.

Director Stanislav Skřička places the contestants in unexpected locations inside the vessel – in couture gowns among steel structures, funnels, technical corridors, and storage areas. Only a few brief moments show the official stage of the pageant, while most of the film captures theinformal moments away from the spotlight.

Without dialogue, the film unfolds as a visual experience supported by distinctive original music, exploring the contrast between beauty, leisure, and the monumental machinery of the ship.

Director Statement
My journey to this documentary was born out of frustration with the limitations of commercial filmmaking. During my work in the dynamic world of NASCAR, I filmed an extensive behind-the-scenes documentary. Unfortunately, I was unaware of the strict licensing restrictions and had to delete the documentary. Later, it was a music video I shot for a renowned British punk band; it was withdrawn and destroyed by censorship due to its hidden political undertones.
