POEM:
Oblivion tells of a darkness,
A darkness without the spark of life,
A darkness carrying unwavering sorrow,
Only felt when one dies.
Eternity tells of a light,
A light so bright you become blind,
A light carrying an infinity,
Only felt when one never dies.
Oblivion tells of an end,
An end so sudden and sculpturesque,
An end carrying life unlived,
Only felt when one regrets.
Eternity tells of torture,
The torture of a never ending life,
The everlasting torture of boredom,
Only felt when one cracks under the pressure of time.
Oblivion and eternity,
Sister and brother,
Oblivion and eternity,
Living one makes you wish for the other.
Oblivion and eternity,
A cold darkness,
Oblivion and eternity,
An everlasting chorus.
The pair prowls the universe,
And it is futile to run,
Since no matter what you do,
You must suffer one.
