This is a short animation about a lonely ghost trying to find his identity. He wish could communicate with human beings and be loved but never succeed. Some day it comes true through some special media and art form.

Director’s Statement:

As a female animator original from China learning and working in North America animation film industry, there are lots of difficulties I need to face. For example the culture differences, and very tough industry competitions. Sometimes I can feel very strong isolation in my daily life, my family or friends have no idea what I am doing, and sometimes they even did not support or encourage me. But I was very lucky I found animation, which is such an unique art form and could allow me talk to people freely around the world. I am so happy to see people love my work.

This is a simple 2d animation short film based on my personal experience in USA. It is about a lonely ghost seeking love in the city, he can not been touched or seen, but in the end he could talk to people through some special art form. I hope if you watch my film, even you are lonely, upset, or not been supported, encouraged. Just remember, please never give up, keep searching, keep growing, keep trying till you find the right key. You are the only one can make yourself better. And always, trust yourself.
