Get to know writer Ida Ayu Lestari:
1) What is your very short story about?
The story told about a reality that there is an unreal world in the real world.The little boy is the first one who found out about it.
2) What motivated you to write this story and submit it to the festival?
This festival is a real challenge for me.
3) What movie have you seen the most in your life?
Persepolis or American Beauty, I guess.
4) How many scripts and stories have you written?
I don’t remember exactly. But I made most of my script for my personal animation projects.
5) What artists would you love to work with?
There are so many artists I want to work with. But the first name that pop up in my head is David Firth, animator.
6) What is your passion in life?
My passion in life is to inspire people (in many ways) through my story. In the form of animations, paintings, films, or other works.
7) Any tips for other writers who want to write a 140 character short story?
Close your eyes, write down the images that you see in your head.
