Set in the shadows of a gritty underworld, a war is brewing. The Mega Plush, a group of four plush toy vigilantes, are struggling against the uprising of the SOC (Society of Chimps) army. Good vs evil. Bear vs sock monkey. The question is “who has the stuffing to survive?”

THE MEGA PLUSH – Audience Feedback
MT: Let’s talk about “The Mega Plush”, the teddy bear action thriller. Anybody want to make the first comment on this really cool film?
Audience 1: I really enjoyed that, but the whole time it felt to me kind of like a trailer for some sort of plushies gone wild/adult version of a plushie action drama. I was watching it and thinking “man, I kind of want to see this”. I want to see the feature of the plushies in the deep gritty inner city. It was kind of like a proof-of-concept, that’s how I felt about it.
Audience 2: I’m impressed by the fact that I actually felt bad when the monkey got shot in the leg. You know? Because usually when there’s lots of violence and pounding music I’m like “yeah more violence!” but I actually felt bad.
MT: Well then he did the job right then!
Audience 3: It was like a childhood dream played out. Like, kids always play with their toys and play action heroes so it was very cool and child-like.
MT: Who could not like this film? It’s got everything going for it. It’s got teddy bears, it’s got guns, it’s got him dragging and the cotton’s coming out… It’s got a lot going on here.
Audience 4: Is this supposed to be – like, the monkey looks very homemade, and the teddy bear is factory-made. Is this supposed to be some sort of a comment? Like maybe the monkey was made for the child by mommy or something and the teddy bear was bought in the store? It was almost like the teddy bear is Batman but then you don’t think of the monkey as the villain, you’re feeling sorry for the monkey.
MT: Yeah, the teddy bear is the “bad guy”…
Audience 4: Is he? Or is the teddy bear Batman?
MT: Who knows, right? That’s what it’s all about. Okay, you can do two things. You can go home and Google it, and you can watch future films of “The Mega Plush” because there are future films. Or you can wait until April and watch the sequel at our Action/Crime festival in April. So it’s up to you. But I know some of you are going to want to watch the rest sooner. The sequel is based in a strip joint, and that’s all I’m going to say.
