Get to know writer Nicole Nelson:

1) What is your very short story about?

It is actually an excerpt from my feature length Romantic Comedy Kevin the Loser. The protagonist , Kevin, is a loser in life, but hopes to be a winner in love.

2)What motivated you to write this story and submit it to the festival?

I was motivated to write this story to show that we all have a vulnerable side when it comes to love. I submitted this story to the contest in hopes of getting exposure and ultimately having my screenplay sold and produced.

3)What movie have you seen the most in your life?

I have seen Beaches and Five Heartbeats an equally insane amount of times.

4)How many scripts and stories have you written?

I have written a total of five feature length scripts that range in genre from period drama to action thriller.

5)What artist would you love to work with?

The list is too long.

6)What is your passion in life?

My passion in life is to write movies that inspire.

7)Any tips for others writers who want to write a 140 character short story?
