Get to know poet Julie Clark:

1) What is the theme of your poem?

The theme of my poem is freedom from the prison of hurt, bitterness, anger, demonic influences, disease.

2) How would you like people to respond when they read or watch your poetry reading?

I would like to encourage the people watching this video to give the key to the prison day to Jesus and let him come in and set them free from all of the things that have kept them chained for many a year.

3) How long have you been writing poetry?

I wrote my first poem when I was 17 so 30 yrs. it has been such a support for me.

4) Do you have a favorite poet?

My favourite poet is William Wordsworth.

5) What influenced you to submit to WILDsound and have your poetry performed by a professional actor?

The good quality of the video, to get my poem read rather the people having to read it and to be able to share and promote your site which I really like.

6) Do you write other works? scripts? Short Stories? Etc..?

I mainly write poetry or sometimes Christian devotions and I am looking at now doing short stories.

7) What is your passion in life?

My passion in life is Jesus, my hubby, my two boys and my poetry.
