Death
by ALEJANDRO SALVADOR
The night’s curtain fell
And the clock’s handles
Proceed with every second of sadness.
While fearless death
feeds of hunger
We rejoiced deeply in my sleep,
Sentenced deep in darkness
Within an ignorant thought;
“Im seconds away of throwing myself into the black ocean,
There…
where no struck of
light dared to show…
Where one looses their shadow
as well as their soul.”
In an island never witnessed,
I am shook by these warms,
those who hide their teeth
within my pupils.
The anesthesia affects no longer,
It has nothing
On this atrocious nightmare.
Her marbled face
And her deadly breath,
I simply enjoy it.
With a fearless smile
And a mortuary look in my eyes
Let myself gaze into those snake tongues.
Within this appalling fantasy,
I find myself falling
Into this obsession
of not wanting to wake up,
Because she grabs me
and satisfies.
¡ Oh, Father, enlighten my shadow, it finds itself being prostituded !
