The bright sparks in my family, Poetry by Louisa Adjoa Parker

Genre: Society, Life, Technology

The bright sparks in my family
by Louisa Adjoa Parker

They’ve been wired together
wrongly, fuses blow too quickly
circuits short themselves
and their systems overload;
like robots of the future
made by robots
made by robots
in a factory where instructions
left by people
on how to make a robot’s mind
have long been lost
to time and buried
under fine metallic dust.
