What genres does your screenplay fall under?
Drama
Why should this screenplay be made into a movie?
There’s a naivety to death with most people fearing to acknowledge it. They force themselves to believe that if one grows old they die quietly and peacefully so that they don’t have to acknowledge the weight of grief and loss.
How would you describe this script in two words?
Human experience.
What movie have you seen the most times in your life?
Goonies
How long have you been working on this screenplay?
Over two years
How many stories have you written?
Four and lots of other ideas in the works.
What motivated you to write this screenplay?
My personal experience.
What obstacles did you face to finish this screenplay?
Finding the time to write. Ensuring the experience was something that all audiences, no matter the age, could relate to or imagine for themselves, to drive home that emotional impact.
Apart from writing, what else are you passionate about?
Travelling. Indie flicks and reading.
Any advice or tips you’d like to pass on to other writers?
Writing a single word or sentence will get you closer to the finish line than writing nothing at all.
