Part Thriller, part action-adventure, definitely female-driven
Why should this screenplay be made into a movie?
It’s about two intelligent but very different women who have to learn to trust each other as well as themselves in order to succeed in their quest.
How would you describe this script in two words?
Suspenseful, Satisfying
What movie have you seen the most times in your life?
The Godfather Pt !, and Love Actually,
How long have you been working on this screenplay?
Capital Partners is based on a short story of the same name. It was originally published in 2012. But I adapted it as a screenplay this past summer (2016)
How many stories have you written?
I’ve written 14 novels and over 29 short stories, all thrillers, mysteries, and/or crime fiction, both contemporary and historical.
What motivated you to write this screenplay?
I took an online course with Aaron Sorkin and got motivated to return to screenplay writing after a 30 year absence.
What obstacles did you face to finish this screenplay?
Adding the elements that would turn it from a story into a TV series.
Apart from writing, what else are you passionate about?
Watching films, reading, dancing, swimming
Any advice or tips you’d like to pass on to other writers?
1.Place butt in chair. Write. Revise. Write. Revise again.
2. Don’t try to sell the first thing you write.
