Infinity’s Edge is a sci-fi television pilot best described as a cross between a firefighter/paramedic show and Star Trek Voyager with a sprinkle of Battlestar Galactica on top.

Get to know the writer:

What is your screenplay about?

Infinity’s Edge is a pilot (1 or 2 part) teleplay about the adventures of a lost rescue space ship struggling to find a way back to Earth.

What genres does your screenplay fall under?

Sci-Fi/Adventure/T.V.

Why should this screenplay be made into a movie?

Infinity’s Edge is a character-driven Sci-Fi exploration about multiple groups of people (all from different backgrounds) who untie and work together, despite a lack of leadership, to form a common bond. It has the proven elements found in successful shows such as Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek Voyager, and the various Firefighter genre of shows we see thriving in today’s market.

How would you describe this script in two words?

Confidence. Survival.

What movie have you seen the most times in your life?

Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan.

How long have you been working on this screenplay?

On and off for almost 4 years now.

How many stories have you written?

5 stories in screenplay format. Several real life stories within the local Law Enforcement community.

What is your favorite song? (Or, what song have you listened to the most times in your life?)

Metallica – Master of Puppets.

What obstacles did you face to finish this screenplay?

The strict demands of the Teleplay page limit (I’m still facing it!)

Apart from writing, what else are you passionate about?

Movies, Self Improvement, Cinematic Photography, Drone Photography.

What influenced you to enter the festival? What were your feelings on the initial feedback you received?

I have been associated with amateur table-readers in the past. The professionalism and scope of WILDsound seemed like a well placed allocation of my funds. The resulting feedback from 3 of my stories with the WILDsound crew was genuine, well thought out, professional, patient, extremely helpful and very reasonably priced. I will use them again for sure.
