FEAR, 11min.
Directed by Reyna Ivonne Mendoza Estrada
A teenage girl is hospitalized in a public psychiatric clinic after a suicide attempt. What begins as a search for care becomes an experience marked by institutional abuse and neglect. Through her testimony and a visual stop-motion reconstruction, the documentary explores the conditions of psychiatric hospitalization and the dynamics that normalize violence in mental health spaces, challenging the idea of protection and care. https://www.instagram.com/keeesiiii_
