I already had the first two lines (my shortest poem!), so decided to try for two more to fit the 140 character requirement. I don’t usually have time to try these things, but something prompted me to enter, and I’m glad I did.

When I came across the festival, I was interested in the challenge it provide in writing microfiction. To create a character with depth and whose personality would be the source of his own struggles in under 140 characters was an interesting exercise in writing efficiently and with subtext.
