TV Show Pitch: Lena and the King Of Hearts by Alicia Lee

LOGLINE PITCH:

ACTORTitle: Lena and the King Of Hearts

Written by: Alicia Lee

Type: TV show

Genre: Romance, Vaudeville, Period Drama, Comedy

Logline: Lena Ellis never really thought that much of herself. Sure she had a beautiful singing voice, but the garden was her only audience. In the meantime, she was just a African American maid working for her aunt in her infamous New Orleans brothel in 1903 . Lena thought she was alone, singing about a better life….. until playboy vaudevillian Lynwood “King” Hartley heard her one Christmas evening….it was fate.
