The sins of my past
have gone on a pilgrimage
far far away in the
dusty lands of mirage
offering charms and chants
of thirsty stubble lands
and leaves me widowed
across the arms of life
I wait with the dead
present;feeding in my lap
mourning merry songs of
pleasure, gloom, delight
lulling me to sleep
in dreams of dejection tucked
assuring me of you
Oh Future! My Beloved!
