Bed of wood by Egor Sanin
################

I fall asleep on a bed of wood.
I will spread upon it —
Water engulfing a beach.
The bubbles will be my thoughts,
Created and popping without a trace.
I will seep into the wood,
Permeating the surface,
Hard, and softening under my caress.
No sign of me will be left,
Save the darkened hue of brown.
Like this, in silence, I drown.
