Shy eyes turn away, when mine are bold
And glances never meet.
Smiles light up, and cheeks are red
But eyes are at her feet.
Her hand trembles, voice quivers
While saying a mellow, “Hi!”
But when I am going, a sparkling tear,
She’s holding in her eye.
