Genre: Funny, Rhyme
Amend
by Krissy Penner
I carried a mountain.
Within my bare hands.
Majestic in size.
I carried by land.
It wasn’t a dream.
I indeed was awake.
My arms feeling pressure.
My knees they did shake
But I knew I could handle.
This weight to the end.
So I kept the peak level.
And made an amend.
Dear Krissy:
Do laundry.
More often.
The end.
