Self doubt as a writer, which I suppose it always there, but not letting the history or the larger narrative drown out or minimize the characters.

Travel, teaching, learning and food, especially food.
Any advice or tips you’d like to pass on to other writers?
Don’t get fooled by the muse fallacy. Write every day, if you’re feeling it, if you’re not feeling it. No matter what, write.
