Drip Drip Drip
By CJ Flowers

Goes the love from my heart
Not gushing, not flowing
Just slowly oozing out.
When I think of you one more drop
Hits the floor
And I cry and I scream
I can’t take anymore.

We had love or so I thought we did
Where did it go
and why won’t I bleed.
The rest of my love sits deep in my soul
I can’t make it pour faster and cant take anymore.
The pain is unbearable as I sit here alone
And yet my heart drips with the love
i know is long gone.

Drip drip drip
Make it go away
I want to be done
And it just keeps going on
Love was all i had
Now pain and regret
Please love leave my heart
I’m just getting wet.

Oh the wound drips slowly
Please twist in the knife
I want to believe
That all will be right.
But my heart just drips
My love to the floor
And I know deep inside
That we are no more.

Love gush
Love rush
Love hurry and leave
I am cried out and tired
And yet I can’t bleed.
