Philosophical

How would you describe this story in two words?

Be true

What movie have you seen the most in your life?

Koyaanisqatsi

How long have you been working on this story?

It takes me quite a while to finish a story and this one took me about three months.

The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown

What motivated you to write this story?

While I was sick I started to think about I had not been true to myself and started the story from that point.

I would like to have dinner with Steve Reich. One of the turning points in my life was hearing “It’s Gonna Rain” for the first time. This piece is one of the greatest musical compositions of all time.

Apart from writing, what else are you passionate about?

I am driven to compose music that represents modern times.

What influenced you to enter the 1pg. Short Story contest?

This is a wonderful contest because I have always found that I wanted to write using only the necessary words of the story.

Any advice or tips you’d like to pass on to other writers?

Be truthful to yourself about how good your writing is and edit, edit, edit.
