1) What is the theme of your poem?

I cannot declare what’s the main theme of my poem – “Tomorrow is a crunch”, instead I’ll say that it’s about – Love, Nostalgia in Live, and Loneliness.

2) How would you like people to respond when they read or watch your poetry reading?

I believe for those who love reading poetry, my poem will capture they’re minds, and make them think. In truth, I hope the readers can learn from my writing, like so they can consciously or unconsciously apply it to their everyday lives.

3) How long have you been writing poetry?

Since I was a teenager in School, began my fascination with literature. I read the range of books that have inspired me to write a set of poems. My dreams always were of becoming a writer.

4) Do you have a favorite poet?

Yes, I have a favourite not one poet, but a few, and they’re: a Russian poet – Pushkin; a Spanish-speaking poet – Pablo Neruda; with the famous English poets – Lord Byron, and Shakespeare.

5) What influenced you to submit to WILDsound and have your poetry performed by a professional actor?

Be a woman, and a polyglot, who lives in Australia, but for someone like me not everyday come the opportunity for their poem to be performed by an actor. When, I submitted my poetry to WILDsound, and my poem has been given the opportunity to be performed by a professional actor, that’s why I’m very grateful to the Festival for this honour!!!

6) Do you write other works? scripts? Short Stories? Etc..?

Yes, I wrote other works, as I’m a self-published author with a pen name – Anastasia Shmaryan. By now, I have published and translated myself twelve books with Trafford Publishing, in the USA that, is a part of the Penguin Group; with that it’s included a Stage Play, which I also wrote.

Additionally, my second book has won First Prize at the ‘Monaco International Film Festival’, as an original screenplay; however, I didn’t collect that trophy. This piece of writing I later have made it into a Novel, titled – “The Usurped”, since being a writer, I have created many scripts.

7) What is your passion in life?

My passion in life is writing! And I’ve been told that my creative vision is matched by my ability of story telling.
