I entered the contest because I liked the idea of getting feedback on the initial scenes to see if I was on the right track, especially because the short story and the screenplay open with different scenes. The feedback helped me realize there was an area of the script I had neglected that I needed to focus on.

I was just so thrilled with your feedback…it made me feel like maybe something I wrote was worthwhile and that someone got a little chuckle or made a little gasp at some point while reading it or gave a big sigh at the end. That’s what writer’s, artists, performers all want, that applause at the end.

We at least like to think that someone was reading or watching or enjoying or being changed by something we created.
