1. What is your screenplay about?

Avalon follows the journey of two childhood friends who make a pact to get revenge for their parents who were killed by terrorists,

2. Why should this screenplay be made into a movie?

It is an action adventure journey that is character driven. In addition, it has humor, depth of character and explores the bond of friendship.

3. How would you describe this story in two words?

4. What movie have you seen the most in your life?

Dr. Zhivago

5. How long have you been working on this screenplay?

Off and on for six years.

6. How many stories have you written?

Dozens.

7. What motivated you to write this screenplay?

Wanted to explore a friendship as it develops over a long period of time and develop it against an epic background.

8. What obstacles did you face to finish this screenplay?

Trying to decide if it were better as a film or TV series.

9. Apart from writing, what else are you passionate about?

Made a living in the theatre for over forty years.

10. What influenced you to enter the WILDsound Festival? What were your feelings on the initial feedback you received?

I got into Wildsound because of internet promotions. I felt that the feedback was constructive, insightful and supportive.

11. Any advice or tips you’d like to pass on to other writers?

If you don’t have a thick skin develop one.
